Supporting Infinitive

SELECTiVE supported Infinitive over a 5 month period in 2022 with a combination of recruitment strategy and recruitment delivery. Recruitment was focused across System Engineering, GIS and graduate recruitment.

Challenges

Infinitive Group were growing at an exponential rate. Prior recruitment had been primarily managed internally ; however additional support was sort to ensure that staffing was effective, proactive, carefully managed and budgeted.

The Solution

A RaaS solution was chosen. This is a fully outsourced option where SELECTiVE work as an extention of, or in this instance, as Infinitive Group’s in-house resourcing team. Jo Hall (MD) of SELECTiVE worked as Account Manager and managed the day-to-day interaction with Infinitive Group and utilising the team at SELECTiVE to support with developing compelling recruitment campaigns (from sourcing technique’s, messaging and job advert design) through to interviewing and on-boarding support. A fully outsourced RaaS approach allowed Infinitive Group to benefit from recruitment strategy and delivery support. As part of this a full graduate recruitment assessment campaign was developed and delivered (with all materials available to Infinitive to utilise going forward) and a social media schedule developed to help continue to grow Infinitive Group’s LinkedIn presence and capture future prospective candidates interest.

Processes

All RaaS approaches to recruitment are a partnership, in this case between SELECTiVE and Infinitive Group. Starting firstly with a thorough understanding of the business, vacancies and processes. Through this work a “candidate attraction” process and selection methods are developed. For Infinitive Group , SELECTiVE helped with interviews

Outreach

Outreach campaign results (how we target candidates) were very well received, for example for our Systems Engineering campaign, 73% of people targeted (375 prospective candidates) saw our landing page and read our outreach campaign with 21% responding to this and 8% (30 prospective candidates ) interested in learning more.

Results

7 hires we made across system Engineering, GIS function and via 2 graduate assessment centre days. Alongside growth in social media following of 29% and dedicated talent pooling for future roles.
